i swear my boyfriend has changed to! i was wondering if i was the only one who though that.. but it just seems like all he wants to do is drink and forget about things. and it stinks because were so far away. he wasnt allowed to drink during his deployment, i know of some places where theyre allowed to have two drinks.. i sort of think its bad that they get so deprived from it because then they come home and thats ALL they want to do.. it really stinks. hes just not his happy self anymore.

yea the only time we are ever in an argument is bc hes drinking. i told him he needs to re evaluate some of the ppl tht he hangs out with. which  i am proud tht he decided not to go to a party tonight bc he knew better than to do tht! ever since we started dating hes been tryin to slow down a lot but its such a habit tht sometimes he gets way out of control! but we have tlked about and he has apologized so i will just wait and see if he actually gets better!

I absolutely hate it when he drinks. I do not drink, it's not that I am against it but I just never really had the opportunity. We usually fight when he gets really drunk and sometimes when he is just got a buzz. He cut down on drinking alot when we started dating but still. He tells me if I was out there then he wouldn't go out with his friends every weekend or drink so much, it just gets boring on base he says. I just dont see why he cant stay in one night on the weekend and talk to me like before deployment. It was bad on deployment when they were in different countries and I swear he has changed some ever since he got back...

ugh, I dont blame you... i think the same exact way! I think mine drinks more because of deployment related issues, because it never was this bad.. i hate it. And idk if they do it because it helps since were all so far away from eachother? idk, but all i know is that i dont personaly like to go out and get obliterated. I hope he realizes and stops for you though! But i agree, i dont mind it casually, but drinking to get completely drunk is not okay with me.

i feel like if i were there he wouldnt drink..or he wouldnt drink so much tht he blacksout and cant make a sentence tht makes any sense! and what makes me mad is this is the 3rd time its gotten out of control to where i get really mad at him! im fine if hes just causally drinking and remembers things! he knows it makes me mad but i have yet to see a change even tho he says hes going to slow down. and im so worried tht one day hes going to get black out drunk and hook up with another girl or something! i dont know what i would do if tht ever happend. so i think me tellin him this has made him see tht he really does need to stop...at least i hope so!

Ugh I know.. awful. My boyfriends on this medication too, and i'm pretty sure drinking on it is NOT good. I don't get it either. There isn't much to do out at my boyfriends base either, so I know that's why he does it too. I just wish their friends didn't feed into it so much.

when hes home its fine..its just while hes up there in NY where hes stationed and i know good and well his friends feed into it. he says well theres nothing else to do up here and im like hello tlk to me instead. he tells me all the time im going to slow down but he never does and last night he was all im sorry this wont happen again but i know good and well it will

Ugh, I know! My boyfriend doesnt know how to control himself what so ever... he was drinking sooooo much before he left for his deployment. Even when he was on leave back here after his first deployment he drank a lot. Which I guess I understand but I really hate it. Its so hard trying to decipher what they're trying to drunk text you >:|. Sometimes Im not sure if I like his friends where hes stationed...I think they feed into drinking way too much.

they go way too over board! i mean i know it might get boring on the weekends but ive been so mad all night bc he doesnt know how to control himself sometimes! hes txtin me but i have no clue what he is tryin to say :/ it pisses me off!!!
