Well, to be completely honest, I'm not sure how I get through them. There's no such thing as getting use to it. Some days are great and others completely suck but each day is a new day and we make the best of it. I don't dwell on the fact that he's gone but I also allow myself to break down and cry if I need to. I try to stay busy and keep in a routine. I have a to-do list of all the things I need to or I'd like to complete before he gets back so it keeps me motivated. Every deployment has been a different experience for me so I handle it accordingly.
i mean one care package a week. lmao i would go broke if i sent one a day but the most i have sent out in a week has been four! lol but no no just atleast one a week! hahah have u done any fun/cute care packages? ive tried to think of some and cant! since valentines day is coming up i want to do something sweet and cute
the same i work m-f 8-5 as a nanny so that in its self keeps me busy and my mind occupied! and i have started to work out a lot b/c to me thats a huge stress releiver! writting him and sending care packages makes me feel close to him so i write everyday and send him atleast one care package a day
Thank you!!! I love your picture as well! This is such a great idea!!! It will def. be nice to be able to talk to people who know what Im going through! But the way i have been managing to get by is staying involved with his family. His sister is pretty much like my sister now, we are always trying to do something together.
