I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?
I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Yah, I hate how time with them goes by so fast and when they're gone time goes in slow motion.
It's definitely different, having to go through gates to see him and sit with all the guys during his liberty haha! But it's worth every second (:

I am part of a group of mothers who pray regularly for our sons, and I hope soon we will add those with daughters, who are graduates of VMI. We began our MIP (Mothers in Prayer) groups when our sons and daughters were cadets, and two of us felt that they need our prayers as much now that they are commissioned officers, or working in the civilian world as they did as cadets. It has been a blessing to me to be part of this, and the mom who helped me begin the Alumni group is the wife of one of my husband's Brother Rats (they were in the same graduating class at VMI). So any and all communities that help us suppport each other and our loved ones are a blesssing to me. Thank you and all the others who will soon be my friends on this site.

I haven't looked much into anything which I really should. I've been trying not to put a drastic change in my diet right away but slowly work my way into it. I looove the stuff Dr. Oz has though so i deifnitely need to look more into that. Thank you so much for your help! <3
A little bit of everything I guess. I have no problem getting up and going to the gym, that actually helps to clear my head but my i guess it is the eating and not knowing exactly what I can do to lose weight and see results. so frustrating.

Hi Allee....I've noticed a lot of posts with count downs to and from deployments. Is there anyway to help discourage these from being posted or help educate those that are posting about OpSec? I know a lot are still new to all of this and they see this site as secure...wouldn't that be great? OK...just wanted to ask based on the guidelines you've posted for the usage of this site....thanks.
You would think. But like I said, all it comes up with are past 2/5. I googled it again, and everything I found is either old news or hasn't been updated since January or the site doesn't work.
He doesn't know who they are because he was only with them a month then they left (he volunteered to go because the guy who was supposed to go, got in trouble)
Ive tried just a normal google search, but all it came up with was past news. I searched it on facebook and it was a page for past 2/5 members and then eMarine, but I couldn't find his unit on there and when I find something, Im told a need a sponsor
