I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Comment by Kiley Groft on February 20, 2013 at 2:19pm When you get married unless you have children it is usually pretty difficult to get housing on post. It usually ends up being cheaper to live off post anyway. As far as actually getting married, you can do that whenever you wish. The paperwork takes awhile to get processed and his pay for being married will not take effect right away. When my husband and I got married it took about three-four weeks for him to start getting paid as a married soldier. Hope this helps!
