I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Goodmorning ladies;
I got the regular phone call im used to this morning. But with bad news... My boyfriend Adam went to medical and found out he will need surgery on his shoulder and will require a 6month recovery. When he was only supposed to have 3 weeks of rehab. As much as that sucks... it got worse. He could be medically discharged. We know everything happens for a reason. But this isn't what we wanted. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. <3
Have a great day -- and many thanks!

Comment by Megan Bristow on June 12, 2012 at 2:59pm Paige; Thank you so much! He goes in for an MRI this week to see exactly whats wrong.
Comment by Paige Williams on June 12, 2012 at 11:23am It will depend on what is wrong with his shoulder on what will happen. But I understand. Last year my husband went in for shoulder surgery as well. We were told that the tear that he had wasn't that bad... then when he was in surgery it was worse. He was on limited duty for about 4 months after and then everything went back to normal. He is currently deployed...
However, you will be in my thoughts :)
