I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

After 23+ years involved in the Military life, the most important thing I have learned is this - KEEP EVERYTHING!
Documents will be lost, misplaced, needed...
If you own a scanner, I suggest scanning everything that you ever receive (or download). Take advantage of external storage sites, like Google Docs. The documents can be accessed through any internet connection, and be saved privately (you have to change the settings to do this). You access it with your own account, and only a person with your log in and password is able to view them. It also helps preserve the documents - printed paper fades with time.
It doesn't matter if the document seems to be important, or not, save it!
