I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Living in Oceanside, but a possible move to TEXAS?!
Hey girls! I haven't been on in a while due to Kyle being home, but now that he is back overseas...I'm back! We are currently living in Oceanside, but there is serious talk about relocating to Texas (Austin Area.) I've never even BEEN to Texas, and am just looking for any info you've got to offer. We're going to visit in May to check out homes, and get a feel of the area. He would be working for a great company, and I know it would be a smart financial move for our future family. If any of you girls have suggestions on areas to live, or any info on Cosmetic/Photography industry...I would really appreciate it. ALSO, If any girls in Oceanside ever want to meet up or have a girls night, I am in need of friends down here. All of mine are 45 minutes North of here and aren't fond of the drive. :) Hope you all had a great Valentines day! Thanks in advance!

Hi Alyssa, I am from Texas. Born and raised in the Austin area. What kinda of area are you used to living in? If you like the city moving the South Austin can be good so that you are in the less expensive area, but close to shopping and things like that. North Austin is good, there is a lot of construction but its more of the high end type living. There are smaller towns that you can live in if you like a little more space and some piece and quiet. Towns like Buda, and Kyle, Dripping Springs are with in 30 minutes of Austin but still give you small town and country if you like that. . . Austin is a big town for arts and things like that so Photography should do really well there. I don't know much about cosmetology places but I know Dripping, Buda, Kyle, Austin and all the surrounding areas have beauty shops.... it just will depend on the type you want...
