I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Here's a little help for making care packages!
Themed Care Packages
The act of sending a care package can lift the spirits of deployed soldiers, whether you know them or not. You can send all sorts of things in a care package from food to games, all of which will show that you’ve put thought and love into the gifts that you give. Even if your soldier doesn’t find a use for something that you’ve given them you can guarantee that they’ll find someone who does. Here are a few ideas for themed care packages that you can put together to add that little bit of extra special love.
Birthday
Obviously you’ll include your present and card for your soldier, but you can also add items that make it a celebration. Think about a kids party- there’d be balloons, party hats, party bags, jelly and ice cream, cake, clowns, a birthday banner, the list is endless. Almost all these things you can include in a birthday care package, apart from the food. If you wrap everything you include in brightly coloured wrapping paper and number them, you can tell him which order to open the gifts in, starting with things like decorations and ending with your gift, so the order builds up their excitement.
Halloween
This is a fun care package as it can be great for those with kids, but you can make it more horror orientated. For those with kids, think ahead with their costumes so you can dress them up early for trick or treating and send a photo so if your soldier doesn’t get chance to see them through video calling on the night, they can. Include lots of candy, rubber spiders and make sure there’s an orange and black theme. For a scarier approach, include be sure to include a horror movie DVD.
Valentines
A Valentine’s Day care package is a must-do, even if neither of you are overly romantic, it’s the perfect excuse (like you need one) to tell your soldier how much they are loved and missed. You can go for something girly and romantic, send flowers (artificial ones), a card and gift, in red and pink. Alternatively you could go for something a bit more intimate, but I’ll leave that up to you.
Essentials
The essentials of a care package include items such as toilet paper, toothpaste and toothbrush, deodorant, batteries and pillowcases. You can also get more military orientated essentials online at places such as RV Ops military clothing.
