I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Bad News Today
So the plan was that my fiance's boot camp date for the Marines was April 16th which was PERFECT. i mean he got to stay for our Anniversary and go to my prom and prom would've been our last night together which was fine with me ya know? I had a feeling it was just too good to be true. Well this morning he got a text from his SGT. and he told him his leave date is now April 2nd and that it could still move up... :( It kinda just hit me that now I have even less time to spend with him. I no longer have a prom date and he will not be here for our anniversary which sucks. I'm trying to stay positive and I obviously ccride with him today but then i thought i need to try to stay strong and I need to show him that i'm not just sad about but that i'm happy that his dream will come true even sooner but its just hard.... Do any of you have advice cause right now im faking happiness like no other. :'(

just remember he's Prolly upset about missing all of that as well. Its not easy on him either but you guys could celebrate all that stuff when he comes back. Its hard my bf is only halfway done with bootcamp.we missed his bday/valentines day
