Dress Blues,

Combat Boots become his everyday shoes,

No news is good news,

Cherishing the one who means the most to you,

A United States Marine is the one I love,

The one who is my life,

To keep him safe I ask the man from up above,

And one day I will soon be a United States Marine Wife

I am willing to live this life,

Life of the Silent Ranks,

For my Marine I owe many Thanks. <3

He may not be Deployed but he is still away from home and in my heart and prayers he remains until he is home again safe in my loving arms. I may not be able to speak to him daily like normal couples, nor see him as often as I may wish, but having a kind a love only few may have to honor is a better type of love that normal day to day regular couples may enjoy. My Marine and I have a military kind of love & to me it is the best kind of love. <3 

May my loved one and yours come home safely, Here's to military love! <3
