I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

I will wait for you,
Till your time away is through,
I will stand by my Marine,
Forever and Ever we will live our dream,
When you have a sleepless night,
Imagine me holding you snugg and tight.
I may not put my life on the line,
But your happiness comes before mine,
When we first met I had no idea how much you would mean to me,
Or that you'd be my Husband to be.
No matter the number of deployments,
Or little arguements,
I will love you reguardless,
No matter what at the altar ill meet you in my dress,
We will always be a family,
Forever you and me.
I may not put my life on the line,
But your happiness comes before mine,
When we first met I had no idea how much you would mean to me,
Or that you'd be my Husband to be.
This is a poem for my Fiance who is enlisted in the Marine Corps,
He leaves soon for Basic Training and my time with him is decreasing,
& The nights are getting longer and longer,
He is on my mind 24/7 along with how proud of him I am,
For you who do not know him USMC has been his dream,
& The most I could do is support the man I love while he pursues his dream,
So this is just another poem that popped off of the top of my head,
May God Bless your loved ones & Bring them home safe.
xoxo
