I sometimes find myself dwelling on how much time I have left until Mike comes home.  When I focus on the months on end I become overwhelmed.  The first deployment I struggled terribly with this.  Now I break up the deployments into sections or make them go by quicker by getting to certain events, ex: holidays, social events, birthdays.  So, I mark my calender and focus to get to a certain event and by the time I get to the event I feel a sense of completeion in getting closer to Mike…
