First Deployment!!

My fiance is currently in New Jersey and he is deploying to Afghanistan at the beginning of May. This is his first deployment and my first deployment with him. I dont really know what to expect. A little about me and my Army Man. I'm 19 and my loving boyfriend in the US Army is 18. We went to rival high schools and had no idea who each other really were while in high school. As soon as he graduated he left a month later for bootcamp, as i prepared to leave for college. it does get better

It's almost been 2 months since my husband left for deployment and day by day it does get better. Not saying I enjoy it or want this to happen again anytime soon after he returns....but I'm coping well. Which is good considering that I'm pretty alone here.
