- My fiance and I went to high school together, he graduated two years ahead of me and left for the Army without me ever really knowing. we had mutual friends in school, and I had the biggest crush on him, but we only hung out once. :( Then he came back to Indiana on leave before his last deployment and it was the first time we had seen each other in years...we instantly fell for each other and have been together ever since :) he's my hero, my best friend, my love...and every day I thank God I have him in my life.
He was in the Army for 3 years, 75th Ranger Regiment :), now we are back in Indiana and he is in the National Guard....but I don't see us staying here too long, he likes military life too much!

I know we don't have the most interesting background together, or that our "love story" isn't the cutest, but I've never actually told anyone all the details because to me, it feels like I'm the only one who could see the happiness and the "meant to be" behind it. This isn't the most romantic thing, but it's real. It's how everything started with the man I now call the love of my life... :)

My man has been in the military for over three years, and the first three were spent in the Army. He has been on three deployments, and works harder than anyone I have ever met. His time in active duty ended in August and he decided to join the National Guard in Indiana, our home state.
