Funny! I'm coming down to visit tomorrow! The hiking is fun. We did that last time...I don't mind it either. My boyfriend hate the desert and dry heat, maybe I just like it because I'm with him when I'm there haha. I personally like the star on the mountain :)

My boyfriend is down at Fort Bliss too! Do you visit a lot? Have any fun things to do in El Paso? Haha.

Michael's currently on his first deployment and this is all new for me. It's hard, especially at first when I didn't get to hear from him much, but now that he's on a pretty steady schedule it's a lot easier for us to talk. Luckily, he loves Apple products so he can iMessage me to my phone like a text as long as he has internet. As for care packages, I just go crazy at Michael's (the store lol) and buy lots of stickers, scrapbooking paper, and empty cards. Honestly, just pour your heart into each box so that when your soldier opens it he has a little piece of you and home with him. :) Plus it passes the time pretty fast too!

I went down to visit the weekend of Halloween. The weather was beautiful and much better than the bi-polar southern California weather I usually get. Well, enjoy the time you have with him while he's home this year and when the time comes if you ever need care package ideas let me know. That is my thing. I go all out for Michael and as much as he hates to admit it he loves all the boxes he gets. :D

No. I'm living at home right now. We're talking about me moving out there with him once he gets back from deployment but that's not until late December/Early January 2013. I've gone down there to visit him though. I personally really love El Paso, it's much better than my little town.
