- I'm Sarah and I'm an Army Wife. This whole life style I've learned is definitely not for the faint of heart. My husband and I live 1,000 miles apart when he isn't deployed. I'm at a performing arts conservatory which keeps me plenty busy to keep my mind off of worries. I love him more than words can possibly describe and can't wait for him to be safe in my arms and out of the army.

So I just moved out on my own 5 hours from my family with Camden already living in Washington. He came out for 10 days and it was spectacular to have him with me! When he was leaving, literally as he was leaving in the airport, in uniform, minutes to spare, he proposed to me! Of course I said yes, I love him with all my heart. Last week my boyfriend flew me out to finally meet his family in Oregon. It was absolutely beautiful there, the romantic scenery was definitely a nice touch. More than that though, he made it one of the most special weekends of my life. Those 5 days, even though they were short, reminded me of why I love him and will stay with him through all trials and tribulations.

3 months ago I did not expect to be where I am now.
In love with a man in the military? My outlook on everything has changed, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Not knowing when I will see him again is such a scary thought. I will be with him for 4th of July, but after that all I know is he is deploying in October for 9 months. When will I see him again?
