I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

- I'm a twenty year old full time worker and student, and I'm in love. I come from a Military family, my Father was in the USAF for 23 years but being raised by a Military man and being in love with a Military man is another ball game. I came across CamoConnect a while back because I've followed it on Twitter. For a long time I didn't want to join this site. Not because I didn't like it; in fact, the idea of it is beyond brilliant! I didn't want to join because I kept telling myself that I could this by myself. I could handle the deployments, the distance, the weeks without communication. Until recently, when Jacob came back from deployment, I realized that I no longer could do this alone. No one else understood my pain and frustration. No one understood my happiness over the littlest of things like a quick email or text reading, "Hey sweet thing!" My Mother was the only one who understood my situation. None of my friends are in relationships and dating a man in uniform is something they avoid, especially after seeing me (man, that sounds bad! hahah).
Anyhow, I'm rambling. I'm just happy that I finally gave in and signed up for CamoConnect because I know I'm not alone and it's okay. I'm very excited to meet new MilSo's and meet family and friends of our brave Military men and women. I'm here if anyone needs to vent, cry, talk, or seeking advice! I'll do all I can!
