I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

I know it might seem forever, but 2 years go by fast. Germany is a 2 year tour, my poor DF has to stay there to finish his contract, he was supposed to be out of Germany to get stationed here in the states early this year, but he got stuck, they didn't want to let him go, but i'm looking forward to him coming home, soon, so when I look back at the 2 years, they just flew by, by the time he gets out it will be 3 years. How long is your BF's contract.

If he's going to Germany, he should be able to go home for a month before he heads over there, don't know if that's how it's still done, but when my DF graduated AIT, he came home with me that same day, and stayed for a month, and some days. I hope you're BF is allowed to do that. What did your BF go in for, (his job)?

My Fiance is in Germany. You're going up there to Ft Leonard Wood, when they have nice weather, I went almost 3 years ago, it was freezing and snowing, it was crazy, but worth it.
