- My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 years :) he's been in the army(tanker) for over a year now. He's stationed in Georgia but he's currently drpolyed. it's been tough being so far away from each other but i'm so proud of him and I completely support him and love him with all my heart <3 I'm looking to make some friends who know what I'm going through!

I've been feeling a little pushed away from some of my civilian friends. It's not because they don't understand, which they don't, but I think they may be tired of hearing me talk about missing my soldier. Before I was scared of moving away next year but now I'm glad I am because I want to make new friends, ones who understand. Hey Jessica, I will be seeing him aug 30th and possibly the 31st to not sure on the 31st yet. :)
That will be fun! I'm excited, but I feel like when the time comes I'll be nervous since we're so used to seeing each other every couple of weeks and then now this deployment. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like living close enough to see him whenever I want!
