I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Katie said… If it is too late, I'd be open to doing something tomorrow or sometime during the week. I will send you my phone # in a message. Feel free to text/call if you would like.
Katie said… Hey there! I just got your message. I don't have plans for tonight, I was just kind of laying low. I'd be happy to meet up with you somewhere to chat or have a drink if you would like (and if it's not too late). I have a car so I can drive up to the La Jolla area.
Katie said… Wonderful! Welcome to San Diego! I've been here about 1.5 years and moved here for school. My husband is stationed out of state and deployed right now, but I am always looking to meet other military spouses. If you would ever like to meet up or do something, let me know. I live in PB but work in La Jolla and La Mesa.
Colleen said… It is hard, but it makes us stronger people for what we have to go through...I know for me anyways :-) I have moved 6 times in 12 years, so my daughter who is 11 has moved her whole life and we are about to again, but for good reason. My husband is an E6 and took him a long time to make it haha
Christina Ramirez said… I'd love to do that sometime...I know dog beach can get kind of crowded with bigger dogs but they have some parks around that are not so busy and for the little ones
Colleen said… You're welcome! Where is he stationed and what does he do? My husband is on his way to Cuba for one year. He is a 31E (prison guard) This will be my second time away from him for one year "deployment" he went to Korea for a year back in 2002
