I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Allee Campbell said… - Yeah that can be super frustrating. Have you looked anything up? Right now I'm doing a whey protein shake with flax seed blueberries and bananas for breakfast and lunch. I saw it on doctor oz. plus a lot of salmon chicken for dinner. Also I take fish oil and a lot of vitamins just because I want to feel good too. For my skin I make a green smoothie that I have every morning. It has spinach lettuce apple banana celery water and lemon. It literally makes your skin glow. Haha. This is just all in prep for Mike to get home. A good way to detox and kick off a diet.

Shaylyn Kelleher said… - Oh wow, I don't think I could've done that! What branch is he in? What does he do? My Sailor is in Charleston, and I'm lucky enough to live there with him right now. We met last January, and I told him I would never date him because he was joining the military. Haha well, he went to basic training in August, and we were engaged a couple weeks after he got out. :) military life is such a big adjustment, but this site really helps! I love being able to talk to people who actually understand my life!
