I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I need help!! This is our first time moving and I have no idea what to do...
I'm hearing a few different opinions about whether we should live on-base or off-base.
Can anyone who has been there and knows solid information share some knowledge with me?? Please, anything would be appreciated.

If you live off your husband will have to worry about traffic and stuff. I know alot of people were saying people were breaking into houses on and off base, We never had that problem. It makes things alot easier living on base cause everything is closer, you could also try 801 which is off base housing i know the housing list is alot shorter and when we moved they were starting to put gates up arounf the community. I know if you tell housing for on base housing that you need a house by this time they normally will haveone for you if you give them some time. it only took us three weeks to get ours!
