I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

I hate it when other girls whine about not seeing their boyfriend for a couple of days. I would like to see how they would fair going a year without seeing their boyfriend. THEN they can complain about distance and how hard it is to miss their baby.

Comment by Paige Williams on July 20, 2012 at 10:11am I have taken to not even talking to civilians about missing mine. Because they just don't understand. Then when I hear them talk about their's, I just try and keep my mouth shut about it all. Mainly because their SO is at least still in the same country! I want them to go as long as we do with so much as a single touch, just Skyping (as amazing as Skype is... it's not the same), and dealing with all the emotional stress that we now have to go through because we are responsible to taking care of EVERYTHING.
