I actually enjoy running/exercising/jogging now! I try to go a few times a week, but half the time my clothes end up bothering the heck outta me...riding up, not being loose enough, being to tight, making me too hot....so I would like to know what you guys think is the best thing to exercise in! Tops, bottoms, bras, shoes...whatever. I'm also in the market for some new running shoes, any suggestions?? Thanks ladies!

I thought I had responded to this but it never went through :(.

My favorite brand of clothing is LuLu Lemon. There stuff isnt cheap- but everything has a five year warranty, the fabrics are great and the service at the stores and online is unbeatable. I have big boobs so their sports bras are all I wear.

And for shoes- always Nike for me. Everything else makes my feet hurt so bad.

Good luck!

i loveee my nike frees! i'm a nike whore for sure though haha so i'm slightly biased. they have seriously the cutest most comfortable shoes. as for clothes, I wear cut offs almost always because a breeze can go through and its loose but covers you up in the right places and dosen't ride. plus, I can wear my bf's old T's as cut offs (which is obv a plus!) shorts always go up my ass. it's hard to avoid that haha so don't feel bad! hope I helped!!

@stephanie ill have to look up the lulu lemon! ive never heard of it! thank you! and @katie im a nike whore too, so i understand being biased :) i have tried cut offs! thank you! im glad im not the only one with shorts riding up my ass aha thank you!

and @katie are frees shoes?

I love Target's exercise clothes. I use their semi-fitted capri running pants and their sports bra built-in tank top with a loose fitted-shirt over it. All 3 items they sell- which I loveee!! I feel super comfy and less self-conscious this way :)

Nike has  the best sports/workout gear! Their Nike pro, and dry-fit which is similar to underamour but better, has the seams on the blade of your shoulders so they don't bother while you're working out.  It also adjusts your your body size so it's not too tight or too loose.  It absorbs your sweat leaving you dry and not allowing it to cling to your skin. The top of the line! Def recommend it girls!

For running shoes, I wouldn't recommend any one brand. If you can, go to a running specialty store. They will check your gait and if you bring your old shoes, they will check the wear on them and find a pair of shoes that work for you. They don't try to sell up like Footlocker or other big name stores do. I had horrible shin splints until I went and got fitted. I ended up liking New Balance best, even though I only wore Nike before that and I will NEVER look back! Of course, as I get stronger, I may need new things from my shoes and may change brands, but I would just try a fitting.
