I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

What to do for my far away Valentine
So, I only have a couple days to get him something if I want him to get it at least AROUND Valentines day (he's at Ft. Sam Houston in TX, and I'm in FL)
This is my first Valentine not single, so it's kind of a big deal to me. Since he's not here, it's a little more difficult to make it special.
What are some things I could do... with limited funds?
(Hopefully this thread helps some other people out too)

Make a cute card, get a little box and fill it with reasons why you love him.. I did that for my fiance and he absolutely loves it.. helps him get through the tough nights. Best of luck! xx

Hope this helps...! What I did for valentines day for my soldier was:
I took a plain white pillow case, and used Iron-on transfers (found at any Walmart for about 5$) and I printed pictures out of us and ironed them onto the pillow case. Then I took Glow in the dark fabric paint (3.49 hobby lobby) and put a hand print onto the case with it. I've heard of people using chest or butt prints instead, just make sure you shave every part you're covering in paint!
I'm putting a note with the pillow case saying, 'How's this for sleeping with me? ;)' Along with it.
You could use this idea anytime though, like a surprise if you think it's too late for valentines day'
