Jake has done sooooooo many adorable things haha but one of my favorites was just this past thanksgiving. about a week before thanksgiving he said he got me a surprise and it would be coming in the mail in about a week or so. Thanksgiving day rolled around and he texted me asking me if I got my package yet and I said no but begged him to tell me what it was. I was super lonely that day because I didn't get to spend it with him. I went shopping for black friday that night and around 1am I got a text from his mom saying it was very important and I needed to get over there asap. When I got home (I live with his family) he was upstairs sound asleep in our bed! My heart melted! BEST SURPRISE EVER!

Well so far, Tommy hasn't done much that was sweet or romantic, but I guess the one thing I can say, is that we were talking online the week before valentines day, and we were looking around on amazon while talking to each other, and I said "I really want some lingerie. I don't have any" and he was like, well what do you want. So I started looking around and sending him links of what I liked. Finally we both agreed on the first one I'd originally sent, and a week later, the day before Valentines day, I got lingerie in the mail, which actually fit, and a special surprise he chose himself, which I would rather not share, b/c it's a little kinky. But on valentines day, I got dressed and put on the lingerie and we had a "date" online. Surprisingly, being a bigger girl, I don't always feel sexy, despite what Tommy thinks of my appearance(he thinks I'm sexy and totally hot), but in that lingerie I actually felt very sexy. And apparently he liked it on me as well, so it was sweet.

lol hard thinking of just one uhhh i have to say the cutest thing would be when i was having bad bad bad cramps one night i was feeling like crap and he ran the shower for me and bathed me and just took care of me :) hes the greatest

Oh, and I have to say it was super sweet when I asked him if he would be willing for us to take pictures when he comes to see me and he didn't even put up a fight, he just said sure.

I LOVE dinosaurs... Almost obsessed with them. When he was home for Christmas, he, his dad, and I went into a dollar store where they had giant animatronic dinosaurs. I wanted one so bad, but he told me to leave it alone and focus on what we were there for. He was at Ft Bliss on valentines day, so I figured the most I would get was a skype call. When I walked into work, one of my coworkers said "You have a dinosaur in the office, I'm so jealous." Confused, I walked into the office to find the giant dinosaur from the dollar store with a dozen roses tied around it's neck. Even from 1,800 miles away, it was the best valentines dat ever. (:

I would have to say the most romantic thing John has ever done was probably when he asked me to marry him... he had just gotten back from his first deployment we'd gone through together & we decided to take a week long trip to Gatlinburg during his block leave in December. We left 29 December & came back on 3 Jan. But on New Years right after we watched the ball drop we decided to get into the hot tub. After we'd both gotten dressed we walked outside & he'd put candles all around the hot tub & once we got in i saw next to one of the candles was a ring....that's when he told me he was so lucky to have me & asked me to marry him. it was truely a breath taking experience & i can't imagine him asking me in any better way !

when i was with my man at his home before his deployment he gave me his "going away gift" and he got me a beautiful dragon fly necklace, then a marine teddy bear that i can always cuddle with. then the cutest thing ever was he gave me a vase with tons of hershey kisses in it! he counted them out for every single day he was going to be gone, and said that now every morning i can wake-up and have a kiss from him! I melted!!

There's so many to choose from! Before he left for boot camp, we went to a lake for a few days. We went boating and we stopped to get out and swim. And before I got out since I left my flip flops in the boat, he threw water up on the boat top so I didn't burn my feet when I got out. And now whenever we walk on the street he always keeps me on the side thats farthest away from the street. He treats me like a princess!

my fiance and i started dating about two weeks before he deployed. a few weeks into it, I was working both of my jobs one saturday, 6am till 130pm at one, then 2pm to 10pm at the other. While I was at my first job I got a call from someone i didn't know saying there was a delivery for me on my porch. I was a little confused, but on my lunch break I drove home to check it out...he had flowers sent to me because he knew I was going to be having a very long day. The vase was orange, as were some of the flowers...my favorite color! There was also a card attached telling me to have a good day and that he missed me. Even while he was in Afghanistan he still managed to make me smile bigger than anyone in my life ever has. That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me, I even have the vase still! :)

theres many things but one thing that has definitely stuck. so he and i havent seen eachother since 2006 and we just got together this year. so its been 6 years since we last ever saw eachother. so we started talking and mentioning that we should meet up and soon. so one day he says to me "im coming to see you!!" i was like what no way, you're kidding right and he says no im not. this man is amazing. he came to see me!!! this is one thing he has done that is beyond romantic because so many times ive heard from people that they are coming to see me and all and never do, but he did!!! he makes me feel so important and special til this day!!! i heart him...

I think the cutest thing my Airman ever did for me was right before he told me he loved me for the first time. We were talking on the phone and he told me to look up the song "I Gotta Feelin'" by Billy Currington, and due to my aversion to country music, I had no idea the song even existed. I found it, then listened to it, and about a quarter of the way through the song I started grinning ear-to-ear and my heart started racing. After I finished listening to it, he said, "I gotta feelin'. Are you feeling it too?" "Yes!!" I said, giddy as can be. Then he said he loved me, and even though it was only three days after we started dating, I knew this boy would love me forever and I'd feel that feeling for the rest of eternity.

my marine has done so many sweet acts, but i'm going to tell the most recent since he's been with me this weekend!!

 

we're in bed having pillow talk ( i love pillow talk) and he turns and is so serious, and says "baby i love you , will you marry me one day" i of course say yes.....then he gives me his white gold ring with his birthstone on it, and tells me to wear this untill we pick out a ring for me and he is able to get it for me!

so i feel like i'm promised to be engaged! lol i love him so much! i wasn't expecting this on this visit!!
