I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Permalink Reply by Kaleigh Lipp on March 25, 2012 at 3:38pm Hey ladies, Thanks for your comments! I recently started watching it and have become addicted. It is definitely very emotional and i have cried through many episodes. I am on season 2 now. I would recommend it if you wanted to start it! :)
Permalink Reply by Dalia on March 27, 2012 at 10:35pm Love it! Yes, there are times that my husband says that they are doing something so wrong, however, he says that about many tv shows or movies that try to duplicate any type of military life.
Permalink Reply by Brianne Schmer on May 25, 2012 at 10:27pm SO addicting! I actually learned a lot from the show about military life. And yes there are a lot of tear jerking moments, but it has a great story line.

Permalink Reply by Dana Rae Burnell on June 25, 2012 at 10:54am Love the show! I never miss an episode! If my husband watches it he points our things that are not "real" and that could never happen. But over all a great show!
Permalink Reply by Victoria Wright on August 3, 2012 at 8:42pm be careful... its addictive, and once you get to season 5 the eps. get hard to find, but its soooo good at least to me they are
Permalink Reply by Micah Dielle on August 11, 2012 at 2:49pm It's absolute escapism. Everything always works out for the best and very little *actually* goes wrong. But, for me, I don't have any military ladies where I live (at least, not that I know of) so it's fun to watch to feel like someone "gets it." I'm CRAZY new to the military life and came into it a little late (I'm 32) so I connect with one of the characters on that level. But other than that...meh.
Permalink Reply by Lizz on September 20, 2012 at 6:46pm I am in the fourth season on netflix. I think it helps me release some of my emotion while my husband is gone. I was raise that you dont cry unless there is a reason. Some of the episodes really hit home, so I guess I use it as a therapy session. Its weird, but it works. I don't have any friends in my area because my husband and I live off base and dont have kids. The show is my release.
