I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

i know how you must be feeling.
my fiance is leaving for afghan in just under two weeks now and everytime i think about it it hits be like a 1000 bricks. im sorry to say this but the time from now until he goes is going to go bye really fast so try and make the most of any time that you two get together.
I've found it really hard to get it off my mind as i find myself getting constant reminders of friends and client at work, asking how im feeling about it and if im worried. well obviously yes i am worried (well, absolutly s**ting myself) but i know hes going to come home fine and you just have to think about the amazing future you two are going to have when hes back.
As hard as it is for us ladies to cope, were not the ones out there so we need to try and stay strong and keep that smile on you face and enjoy your last few months together for a while.xxxx
