Yeah idk I'm just a little shaken up still and it's just like frustrating that that's the call we wOke up to :(

Well first dont say when hes leaving...its not only dangerous but he can get in huge trouble. Before he leaves get a date in hand and in the future use that date as a point to talk about his homecoming etc. Other than that what do you need to know? A deployment is not as bad communication wise as boot camp was but its 2.5 longer. Time goes by fast and itll test you. Good luck.

My best advice is to learn to be flexible. its hard and stressful our loved one to find out they are leaving, and trying to figure you out is even more stressful. I'm a former Marine and married to an active duty marine. Trust me my husband comes home all the time says things are going to happen and yet they don't. So be patient, don't stress, and know there are plenty of us here for you to help deal with all your feelings. Spend as much time with him and love on him as much as you can. good luck Kristen
