I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Fleet Week
Hey everyone,
Does anyone know anything about Fleet Week in New York? My boyfriend received the honor of attending and I really want to surprise him, he talked about how he wish I were able to be there...so he got me thinking. I have always wanted to go to New York so why not get two birds for one stone? But I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

funny i came across this post as i was googling fleet week for myself & my boyfriend. if you're not from ny i recommend you attend the events in manhattan, its easy to get lost in other boroughs cause there isn't much sight seeing.
