I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

Disrespect to Our troops
Do you guys ever come across people who aren't just disrespecting our troops but are just mean about it? I understand not being in support of war and not understanding why we're there but I don't understand being so disrespectful to our troops. I mean they fight and die everyday for those people to say dumbass things that they do. I just don't even know how to respond any more.

YES! It's very aggrivating. I've actually lost 2 friends who I was very close with because they didn't support me spending my life with a soldier. I'm always shocked at people's reactions to the military. I am starting to think they are just uneducated about the topic, and refuse to educate themselves, which is a shame. I find it's best to just explain why you support the troops, and stand your ground, and be as nice as possible about it. Recommend they do more research into all of the wonderful things our troops do.

I completely agree my best friends boyfriend is like that and i just can't bring myself to want to hangout with them anymore...I never realized how much our troops actually do for us and they desrve some respect

I know! And I find that sometime it isn't just civis (although they are the worst) but sometimes other branches downing another branch. I mean I fully respect ALL branches and I understand tradition, which seems to be the only explination I get when asking why branches down fellow branches but reguarldess they all stand for the same thing. They all fight for the same thing. I just don't get it and it honestly makes me mad as hell.
