I always wear my Marine Corps sweatshirt and I have a liscense plate that says "My heart belongs to a US Marine". Plus other things. I love to show my pride. How do you all show your pride?

I love the fact that no matter who I meet who has a loved one in the military, there's an immediate bond with that person. We just understand each other. What do you like?

TOP 10 things to send your soldiers - Ideas wanted
Hiya, my boyfriend said he doesnt need much he has had 4 boxes in 2 weeks so is pretty well stocked up so I am running out of ideas as to what to send.....Im not sending loads but It helps me being able to send something, gives me something to look forward to :-) So if you have any ideas Id love to hear them please or anything your man has said he loved getting! Things youve made, bought or already had maybe? He is also very busy so at the moment he hasnt got alot of time for fun and games :(

Honestly we don't find out how strong we actually are until we are faced with something like this. I sometimes question how I am getting by but the fact of the matter is that we have no choice. There isnt much we can do about them being gone. Just always remember distance isnt forever.

Thank you girls - its really comforting to know no matter how sad im feeling theres other people out there who know how im feeling, I feel so silly banging on to other people about it to them im sure it feels like I am banging on as I dont know any other military gf's or wives :'( I have a toddler so he will keep me busy but not busy enough in the evenings he will be asleep - any tips for those lonely night when all I want to do is sob? :-p I feel myself doing this already....he hasnt left yet!! I know theres nothing I can do about it but we all know it doesnt make you feel any better, I spose you learn to cope with it? Not sure how Im going to do that yet!
